L.A. Dance Connection Competitive Show Team opens competition season with a "Big Win"!
On March 7, 2009 the L.A. Dance Connection Competitive Show Team took the stage at Thunderstruck Dance Competition in Long Beach, Ca in their first competition of the season. The members of the team took pride in representing L.A. Dance Connection in the city of Whitter, Ca winning numerous awards for their cutting edge dances. The Show Team members performed a variety of routines showing various styles of dance which included hip hop, jazz, tap and lyrical.
The L.A. Dance Connection Show Team was awarded "Top Choreography" for their hip hop routine "Carmen". The team also received the highest award of 'Tap Excellence" for their tap routine"Call The Law". Along with those awards the team received many overall awards for their category. "I'll Be There For You" received top overall winner duo/trio division, "Blue" received 4th overall duo/trio division, "How It Ends" received top overall winner for group category and "Whisper To Me" received 2nd overall group category.
