LADC has been instrumental in the psychological and physical development of our son and daughter. First and foremost, dancing has raised their self-esteem and confidence. In the past, both kids wee extremely nervous about being in front of a group of people, such as when delivering an oral report in class or playing in a piano recital. Now they embrace opportunities to be in the spotlight. We noticed this change particularly after LADC's annual dance show, where they performed in front of nearly 2000 people at the La Mirada Theatre of Performing Arts. Second, they've learned the importance of fitness and self-discipline while having fun. They thrive on seeing improvement in their coordination, muscle development and flexibility. Moreover, these physical strengths have benefited them in sports as well.

When I was 6 years old, I began taking dance classes at LADC, not knowing that it would become my second home for the next 13 years. It was a place where I could express myself and pursue my passion for movement. Aside from the technical training, I learned lessons and developed qualities at dance that translated into other areas of my life. I learned to be disciplined and to manage my time well, which has been a crucial component of my academic success. A certain level of professionalism and accountability was also demanded of us in class, which helped prepare me for interviews and employment opportunities. Because of my experiences, I have also chosen to incorporate dance into my career; I am on my way to becoming a physical therapist, and I am considering working with the dance population as a way of giving other dancers the opportunity to continue doing what they love. LADC is a great place to dance, not only because of the strong technique, but also because the skill you can gain as a dancer will permeate all areas of your life.

The studio is full of wonder kids, great parents, organized office staff and skilled teachers. L.A. Dance Connection is not only talented but dedicated to the art and the personal growth of each child. After being with the school for the past 11 years, I am proud my child is part of the team and confident the studio is one of the best in Southern California. The dance studio is a great environment for the kids to be in and I never worry about my child when they are there. My daughter Ashley Quintana has attended L.A. Dance Connection for 3 years now and enjoys it very much. When she first started she was enrolled in hip hop and since then has added tap and ballet. She is looking forwarded to next year and many more after that. L.A. Dance Connection is a very organized and friendly studio. Their teachers are very caring and strive to bring out the best in each student. I am very pleased that my daughter is a part of this studio.
